Alpana: In Bengal, the womenfolk practise a beautifulart called the Alpana. It usually showcases the cultural sensibility of the people of Bengal. Alpana designs are usually round and are drawn during festivals and on normal occasions too. The beautiful alpana rangoli designs are created using rice powder paste, rice powder, charcoal, color powders and so on.
